VENETIAN PLASTER

Venetian plaster refers to putty made from fired limestone combined with water. It’s then mixed together to make lime plaster.

Venetian plaster also called Stucco, Marmarino, Tadelakt, Lime Plaster Texture ,Italian Wall Finishes.

Lime plaster applied to walls gets exposed to the carbon dioxide in the air, the mixture turns back into limestone. So it starts as limestone and ends as limestone—truly magical!

Venetian Plaster gives a highly polished finish to walls and ceilings, which can look like stunning marble itself. As a result it’s very often used successfully for decorative effect.
