Brick veneer wall cladding is a thin layer of natural or manufactured brick used as decorative facing material rather than structural support .

Brick veneer is manufactured from various elements like cement ,earthen materials,pigments ,adhesives and bonding agents

Conventional brick walls typically support the structural loads of the building, whereas brick veneers are applied for decorative purpose

Brick veneer can be made from natural brick as well as manufactured brick. Natural Brick veneer is made from real brick. The Brick is cut to a consistent thickness and weight for use as a veneer.

They are generally formed from thin brick slips, which may be as little as 20 mm thick (compared to 102.5 mm for a standard brick).

Brick veneers can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications and can be applied to almost any surface.

A range of special brick slips are available for conditions such as corners, to continue the illusion that walls are constructed from full bricks.

Application of Brick Veneer

The Brick veneer produced is then attached to walls with special mortars and cement

The application relies on a mortar or cement bonding between the substrate wall and the backside of the Brick veneer. This application is generally used both indoors and outdoors
